before reading this please make sure you have read this- the Cocktail night
the Day of the Shadii!!
every where it was like Sunny Bhaiyya ki shadi hai (a family made motto which means in these days u cn do anything just cause its the marriage house)
today was the Haldi thingi (turmeric paste applied to both the bride and the groom, and cause we were from the the groom's side we applied it to him) after the elders applied it was as if he had had enough so he applied it too all his sisters too on the face- which counts me in too...
and later when the brother's turn came he was wearing nothing except his vest and boxers and hugged every one wearing white, who came to apply him... it was really a sight to see. later we went to our rooms to change for the wedding night
so today i wore- A black and red gown with red leggings...
my mum more something frm her marriage and my dad and granddad wore a suit (so small is menz choice wth clothes) SimranR a black, backless lehnga, my dad's sister- the real one- wore a black and white Sari, but the real hits were SimranC- who wore a red and golden lehnga, Rachana di and Priyanka di who wore dress- golden dress, they werent looking less than fairies, themselves.
others wore awesome clothes too- the star was the bride though...
something about the bride now- her name is Tanya, and as she is my brother's wife she is my Bhabi- yes i agree Indian relations are odd. so my Tanya bhabi is the coolest most awesomest thing ever happened to me, i met her like 2 years before and she still remembers me, she met me like i am one of her siblings, she is the best human ever!!... (after my dad and SimranR though!!)
so at night was the marriage
and we in India, dance all the way from a location till we not reach the location of the wedding, and the groom sits on a mare (y? maybe cause his family gives him one last chance to run away, but cause my Bhabi radiates like a precious jewel, he didnt leave) i held SimranR in my arms all the way- y? cause well there had to be dance and i didnt want to move my arms for it- duh!!
so we reached their and then sat seeing everything till the food didnt come, then we had the food and saw the wedding again- cause it was the marriage day the food was all veg- though there isnt a specific rule for this... then we went to the hotel cause:-
after it finished the bride and the groom touched the feet of their elders and got blessings... it was around 4 or 5 thats when we came back and slept, but others they slept at around 8 the next day, cause they had to make the bride enter the house with the proper rituals...
what really makes me sad is when i cant install the new Superwoman's app, just cause my device doesnt support it!!
